Roger became a certified diver in 1978 in far West Texas.  Over the course of several years Roger leveled up to become a Master Diver Trainer with PADI, and switched over to SSI in 2023.  Roger has accumlated over 1000 dives in the Caribbean, and was a volunteer diver at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans and at the Downtown Aquarium in Denver. His passion for diving is to get people in the water safely, and for everyone to enjoy the experience as much as he does.  He was a paramedic for many years early in his career,  eventually going on to nursing school.  After nursing school, he worked in the Emergency Department for 10 years before deciding to get his Docorate degree in nursing.  Roger taught nursing at Lonestar college for 10 years before retiring and becoming a full time traveler and diver!
