Referral Diver Program in Spring, TX
Want to do your Open Water Diver classroom and pool training now and finish your open water dives later? That's what SSI's Referral Diver program is for, and Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX can walk you through it. It works well for divers in The Woodlands and north Houston who are heading off on a trip.
You'll complete your online lessons and pool training with an SSI Open Water Instructor, then receive a digital Referral Diver card in your MySSI account. Your open water dives can happen later, with the same center or a different SSI center. The minimum age is 10, and SSI suggests 16 to 20 hours for this part.
One thing to plan around: SSI says the open water dives need to be finished within six months of your last session. Wait longer and you'll need a re-evaluation.
