A member of the State Dive Recovery Team, John has been a public safety diver since 2015. He has conducted over 100 dive recovery operations throughout Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana, specializing in evidence recovery. Wanting to expand his expertise in diving, his path took him to Divemaster in 2023, and Open Water Instructor in 2026.

When John isn’t in zero visibility, he enjoys diving in the Caribbean whenever he gets the opportunity. A goal in life is diving off the coast of every continent, and yes, including the freezing Antarctica.
