Deep Diving Specialty in Spring, TX
Ready to go past 60 feet? The SSI Deep Diving specialty at Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX teaches divers from The Woodlands and north Houston how to plan and carry out deeper dives safely.
You'll cover dive planning, using a dive computer, and working out how much gas you'll use at depth. SSI builds the course from 5 academic sessions and 3 open water sessions, and suggests 10 to 15 hours.
You need to be at least 15 with an Open Water Diver certification. SSI also lists Deep Diving as a prerequisite for some advanced courses, and it counts toward SSI recognition ratings.
