With this class you'll learn how to use specialized equipment, understand their main advantages, and learn how to respond correctly to emergencies specific to this type of diving.

Cold-water diving is a lot more fun when you're warm. The SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty at Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX is for divers from The Woodlands and north Houston who want to dive in a dry suit.
You'll learn how to use a dry suit together with your buoyancy control device (BCD), the advantages of dry suits, and how to handle dry suit emergencies.
The minimum age is 12. You need an Open Water Diver certification, or you can take it alongside Open Water Diver. It's 6 academic sessions, 1 pool session and 2 open water sessions, about 10 to 15 hours.
