Underwater Navigation Specialty in Spring, TX
Want to stop guessing which way is back? The SSI Navigation specialty at Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX teaches divers from The Woodlands and north Houston to find their way underwater with confidence.
You'll practice using a compass, natural navigation, estimating distance, leaving and returning to a set point, and basic patterns. Then you'll combine them. SSI builds it from 5 academic sessions and 2 open water sessions, about 5 to 10 hours.
You need to be at least 10 with an Open Water Diver certification. It's one of the four courses in our Advanced Open Water bundle.
