Search & Recovery Diver Course in Spring, TX
Ever dropped something in the water and wished you could go get it? The SSI Search & Recovery specialty at Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX teaches divers from The Woodlands and north Houston how to find and bring up lost items safely.
You'll learn search patterns, how to plan the dive, how to use lift bags, lines and reels, and how to work as a team. You'll also learn to assess water conditions and risks.
The minimum age is 12 and you need an Open Water Diver certification. It's 4 academic sessions, 1 pool session and 2 open water sessions, about 10 to 15 hours.
