Wreck Diving Specialty in Spring, TX
Wrecks are some of the most fun places to dive. The SSI Wreck Diving specialty at Woodlands Dive Center in Spring, TX teaches divers from The Woodlands and north Houston how to explore them safely.
You'll learn to dive around shipwrecks and artificial reefs without going inside, to a depth of 100 feet. Topics include using reels and tethers, plus buoyancy control and navigation at a new site.
SSI builds it from 6 academic sessions and 2 open water sessions, about 5 to 10 hours. The minimum age is 10 and you need an Open Water Diver certification.
What you'll learn
Through theory and confined water dives, you'll learn to dive wrecks safely without going inside them. You'll explore around shipwrecks and artificial reefs, to a depth of 100 feet.
